I suppose with a good deal of taking out of context and stretching, that quote could be turned into something like an I-dare-you.

That kind of thing has to be done with the
utmost self-awareness on the part of the therapist, though; I think many of us here have experience with how our minds will lead us to the most dreadful conclusions. I know therapists who do
not have that kind of awareness.
