I like that. I do not feel it is my role to tell people why I go to therapy or what I get out of it, etc. If someone knew I was seeing a therapist, and asked me advice because they were wondering if it might be helpful to them, I would definitely tell them I found it valuable. I do like the PT forum because everyone here is more likely to understand the unique dynamics of therapy. It is great to have this place to share. Recently, I got my hair cut and the young man cutting my hair mentioned to me something about "his therapist." I didn't pursue this, but remember feeling more warmly towards him, like he is part of the same "club" I belong to.
