I thought I would just post and vent here for a minute and share it will you all and ask for some advice.

I have been in c*t free for 6 months now after 10 years of it. Recently I was brushing out my rabbit, which I haven't had time to handle like I should be doing, and she scratched up my arms with her claws, that needed to be trimmed. I do have to admit some do look like c*ts you would get with something sharp cause of their appearance and depth. Thus, my mother and my best friend assumes that I did this. I don't know how else to convince them that I did not. I showed them the bag of fur that I brushed out and the nails I trimmed but they said it wasn't good enough proof. So in turn my mother said that if the rabbit did this then we need to get rid or her. I don't want to lose my best friend for 5 years now. So what do I do? Lie and say I did it, but lose their trust to keep a friend? I'm stuck in though spot.
