The only thing I have to add to the above suggestions is to exercise during the day, not too close to bedtime though. Go to bed and get up the same time and make sure the room is completely dark. If the noise is bothering you, buy some foam earplugs. You might want to try a magnesium supplement - it makes the muscles and body relax. Also I'm sure you know you should cut out the caffeine including soft drinks. I don't know if your daughter has a Nintendo DS, but there's this game called Brain Age2 it for adults and children - the idea of the game is it sharpens your brain and memory skills - well there one particular game called 'virus busters' and it's incredibly relaxing with this soothing music(lullaby). I play it while I'm laying in bed and it's impossible to think about anything else but the game. It's funny because I find myself falling asleep as I'm playing. It's probably just the change of atmosphere and stress. Make sure you take good care of yourself with eating healthy and I hope everything works out for you.
