I moved to an EXTREMELY laid-back, ten-year (or more) -behind-time, country back hill hick of a town. (Beginning to seriously ask myself....WHY?). Residents even ride their horses around town if desired...lol...certainly don't see that in the city. Take a quick 5 minute walk out of town with your gun, and you can target shoot.... whatever.
I feel your pain, You just described where I lived, I drive a half hour to get to the closets supercenter and to go to college. lol you sure your not my neighbor?
