If the noise is bothering you, buy some foam earplugs. You might want to try a magnesium supplement - it makes the muscles and body relax. Also I'm sure you know you should cut out the caffeine including soft drinks. I don't know if your daughter has a Nintendo DS, but there's this game called Brain Age2 it for adults and children - the idea of the game is it sharpens your brain and memory skills - well there one particular game called 'virus busters' and it's incredibly relaxing with this soothing music(lullaby). I play it while I'm laying in bed and it's impossible to think about anything else but the game. It's funny because I find myself falling asleep as I'm playing. It's probably just the change of atmosphere and stress. Make sure you take good care of yourself with eating healthy and I hope everything works out for you.
Thanks, Lynn~
I walk when I get up the energy to, (I know that does help alot).
I drink only water, maybe juices.
Daughter has ALL the game systems, only bummer is everything is still in storage back in California, (plan for that had fallen through..just another one of those "unforeseen" circumstances), so need to wait to get all belongings still.
The only thing I brought up with us were our clothing and that damned expensive netbook I regret buying. (NEVER buy that thing. It's a rip off, ESPECIALLY through Verizon).
Had full intentions of returning for all our belongings the week following our move up here (4 weeks ago). Sorta stuck at present. Though, striving for the final goal, still.
There is no noise here...that's just it. It's so quiet. And you may be right, the change of atmosphere and altitude may have had a lasting effect on me. Not sure. Thought that adjustment only took a week or so to overcome. Lord knows when I first got here (elevation 10K) breathing was difficult, and sun is definately hotter, even though this area is the coldest in this area of nation during winter, (common to be minus zero)...OH YAY! I SO need our winter gear (in storage)...lol, brought up only summer wear. Duh me! And winter's just around the corner, too...Blah! I hate the snow.

Thanks again
