Since the dizziness is getting worse, comes even within 15 minutes of eating a meal now... I went to the ER, they did all kinds of tests. EKG, blood, blood pressure and urine... Only got the results of the urine test back before they let me go. It was so busy after 5 hours they still hadn't gotten my blood results back. Not to mention the doctor was a moron... Well he didn't listen at least. I told him about everything, told him when all of this started (few weeks ago) when I started my meds (3 days ago) and he assumed I was dehydrated. So of course I got a wonderfully painful IV stuck in my arm the entire time...

Than he finally comes in saying "Your electrolytes were normal it must be the lithium... You need to cut down to 600mg a day" (I'm on 1,200) I than told him that I just started the lithium but the problems have been going on much longer than I've been on meds and he said "You didn't tell me that. Well go to 600mg and call your doctor for an apointment to get your results" Why cut down when it's NOT the lithium?! It really ticked me off and by this time I'm bawling because I hate spending that much time at the ER only to return feeling just as bad as when I went in. I told him the fluid didn't help and I was still very dizzy but I was released anyways, nearly falling over walking out the door on my own. On the way to the ER, btw, my military ID was "confiscated" because it was expired. Than on the way home from the ER, already an emotional wreck from what's happened before and during the ER visit, my husband calls. My daughter found my hidden private journal and he read it.

So that was the wonderful cherry on this terrifically terrible day and I feel better now, only because I just ate, but soon I will be feeling bad again. And I am SO thirsty! I am drinking non stop even while I had the IV, and using the bathroom non stop so I'm annoyed about that.

Oh and yay, I get to see "Doc Perv" for my results. The creepy doctor who loves to know all of the details about my sex life, every visit, no matter why I do in. Fun fun!!!!!
