I so sorry that you are being denied the opportunity to do something you were looking forward to just because you are depressed. I would think going would be more likely to help you than to hurt you, but unfortunately the people in charge don't always realize that. It's ok to cry if you feel you need to. I'm glad your willing to advocate for yourself (or get your parents to) it shows a lot of self respect and self empowerment, both of which are very valuable traits. I'm passing along that virtual hug (((((((Miss_A))))))) and hope you can find a way to be happy.
