I know exactly what you're on about, believe me.

This is the reason that we try to hide our illnesses, because we get treated like outsiders as soon as we admit to them. It's c*** in my opinion. Setting you apart is guaranteed to upset you even more and it makes me furious that this is happening to you. It's a stigma and we don't need it.

Keep fighting, you're doing OK.
