First off, do you want to see your therapist more and your therapist is unable/unwilling? If that is the case I'd suggest a new therapist.
Also, have you brought up DBT in session recently? Maybe your therapist misunderstood?
To find a DBT group in your area do this:
1) Go to
behavioraltech.org
2) Click "DBT Resources"
3) Click "Clinical Resource Directory"
4) (If asked click to accept term of use)
5) Select your state and click the search button
