Did you actually break up with him? Just kind of curious how things went. When I met my husband he was working. We moved in together and his "headaches" got so bad he lost his job. Every time we get in a fight about money he plays the martyr saying he needs to go out and get a job - but he doesn't. As far as he tells me he has been offered several jobs but each one has something come up and he's still sitting at home IMing, texting me, and calling me at work and if I don't answer because I'm working he gets upset with me. So maybe this is more of a way for me to vent than to give you any real advice.

If I had known all of this when we met my life would be a LOT different. Just remember that people don't change all that much. If you have problems with his behavior now get away from it. You gave it a chance and he wasn't the one for you. Now move on.
