I myself do not suffer from sex addiction, but was very close to someone who did.

It's a real addiction, which many people find it hard to understand. It's especially hard because it deals with a difficult subject matter as well.

There is many great resources here in the usa, but I am not sure about australia.

Here in the usa I know it is treated very much the same as alcohol addiction. As with alcohol addiction people who get involved with AA meetings there is also SA meetings and a sponsor will also matched up to a member. Also, if a sex addict is married or has a partner that has suffered from this addiction in the relationship there are meetings for them as well called SS I believe.

Online there are many great resources...back a few years ago I did a lot of research on sex addiction.

I think it's great that you recognize that you have this problem and are looking for help.
