I'm 41 and have a much lower sex drive. I'm extremely depressed about this. As you get older, you lubricate less and the tissues thin out, but I think the pleasure part varies from woman to woman. My gynecologist recommended Zestra, which I've tried before. It's okay, doesn't do much for my sex drive in general, and it's messy. I'm considering asking him for bio-identical hormones, if they're safe (I haven't had time to really look into them yet), and possible other options. Of course, I worry about the risk of breast cancer with actual hormone treatments, but I'd love to feel like I did as a teenager (or even more!).
