Normally you can not talk to your alters unless you know how and they wish to talk.
You do not have to black out or sleep. Only some people do.
Some alters have name and some do not. Some know how old they are and others do not.
Alters can be talked to by just thinking. They can also be felt as far as their moods.

Is that DID or is it nothing?
I can talk to them but only if i want so its basicly talking to myself but acting as i am talking to another person
