Ouch - I hope he's feeling better soon.
My mother moved into another room because she couldn't handle my father's snoring. My husband snores too, but the sound doesn't bother me at all. It feels good to know he's there next to me.
However, he has severe back pain due to large spurs on all of his vertebrae. His doc gives him Tramadol to ease the pain, but they never give him enough. When he runs out of the meds, he goes through withdrawals that frighten the hell out of me. Not only will he toss and turn, he literally tosses himself all over the bed in order to get comfortable. When I have to tell him to stop using my ankle as his pillow, he gets up in a total state of confusion and has no idea where he's at or what he's doing.
It's so hard for him to make it through his work day during this time - in pain and sleep deprived. He has to work though because we're struggling. If he doesn't work, we don't eat or have a roof over our heads. I'm okay with only one pair of torn up tennis shoes that have lasted 15 years - I only have two feet anyway.
I remember looking at "old" people and thinking they didn't have it so bad. Jokes on me.
