That's what my folks used to ask us when we were little and they wanted us to make sure we didn't have to pee before we headed out in the car
It's one thing to ask if you're taking your meds, it's another thing to be infantilising about it. It sounds like she might not be all that experienced with working with people with bipolar. I have sometimes had to do that when I was working with some very low functioning folks with BAD schizophrenia, but even then I tried to keep that sort of thing to a minimum. I wonder if that might be the problem, or maybe because you're young. Some folks do get all hung up on that
strength! Condescension aside, she's trying to look out for you.
