im sorry about the long wait - that really sucks!! it sounds like this OCD diagnosis has become another thing for you to obsess about - intrusive thoughts about it over and over.
my OCD symptoms started to lift within 4 sessions of CBT, so it definitely does work! i have had many more sessions now (depression is my primary diagnosis), but the OCD part is a lot more under control. i have to work at it, of course, but it doesnt interfere so much anymore.
