I'm having the same problem with this post, I know there was another point to make, I just can't think.

I know it's stress causing it, as little stressful things have been popping up and it's hard to concentrate on anything. I'm getting really frustrated, as I can't write what I want to write, and I can't remember what it was that I wanted to write in the first place.

I'm a writer, it's what I do. I can't even do that. I know what I have to say, I just can't grasp it in my head, like a mist has covered it, then just swallows it whole.

Does anyone know any ways at all to help this problem? To get this essay written. I've already hit the deadline, and it needs to be completed!

I hope I made sense, I'm finding writing this a bit hard.

Thanks
I've found that when I had to write things for class and I was having concentration problems or problems that related to dissociation, which I had often, I would write every single point I wanted to make while it was on my mind, like as soon as I would have it. Then if there is research that had to be done for the essay I would make notes while I researched, that way I have something to fall back on if I couldn't think later. I always found with essays, having an outline was helpful too, so if I forgot what I was writing about, I could follow the outline to see where I was at. Hope this might help some! Good luck!
Thanks for this!
