This is really coming out of left field because I rarely have to write anything, however I used to be a dancer and would have to remember long combinations of movements. Sometimes when stressed and or switching because of stress I found I had to reassess my nutrition and sleeping. Often I found just by improving these I was able to struggle less with my wandering mind. I was more present and focused. Just a thought...
