I discovered my son is in a state of depression. He is 26, and living with someone in an unhappy relationship. He says he has no friends, feels lost and hopeless. He says he has been unhappy for a long time. I tried to talking to him but he won't open up. He says he would be willing to talk to a therapist but I suspect he tells me that so I will shut up. I am afraid that he is thinking about hurting himself although he has not said so.
