Crying doesn't mean you aren't strong. Crying is a great tension reliever. It also releases toxins from your body. There are toxins in tears. For real.

Being strong means that you go ahead and do the important things when it's time to do them. You can cry and still do those. Being strong means that eventually, you know you will be OK. It doesn't mean being a stoic, unfeeling statue. The willow survives in a storm because it bends.

Being strong means being brave enough to feel the feelings but knowing at the same time that they will not kill you. They will eventually pass. You will be even stronger for having gone through the pain.

Sometimes, fighting things make them worse. Suffering, especially emotional suffering, is a learned skill. That sounds really dumb, I know. But I believe it is true. People (you know, *those* people) don't know about emotional suffering. It would scare the peewaddun out of them.

You are strong. You will be ok. You may suffer but it won't last forever.
