If this becomes rather heavy and/or "normal" for you, I'd recommend seeing your gyno. There are disorders in which the heavy bleeding occurs monthly, causes painful periods, painful sex, and may affect fertility. Adenomyosis, endometriosis, uterine fibroids are the most common disorders explained.
