I'll be going up to camp today! I'm a camp counselor for a few weeks this summer...it's my favorite place in the world (it's located in Northern Minnesota).

On another note, I've been thinking about something for the past few weeks. In about a year's time, I might enlist in the United States Army. I was poking around on their website, and there are SO many different careers you can get into there. You can be a mental health care specialist! I want to be a psychologist meaning I'd have to go to a few years in grad school, and grad school for a degree in psychology is supposed to be VERY competitive, and being in the army would score me some major brownie points with grad schools.. In the army, I'd have so many eye-opening experiences (good and bad)...and money for college. I feel that it would make me feel better about myself. I met with a recruiter yesterday. He was very nice...he was once stationed in Afghanistan...he's in the infantry, meaning he's basically in the front lines. Being a mental health care specialist, I'd have 9 weeks of basic training (aka boot camp), and then 19 weeks of advanced training. My two years will start after that.

Wow, I just spewed out a bunch of information! Thanks for listening. Hope you guys are having a good summer day.
