For some reason when I get under go anesthesia I have trouble sleeping for a few days after. Last time I was awake for 3 days - I felt like I was losing my mind, so I have great sympathy for people who have trouble sleeping. Since my kids have Nintendo DS's we have this game called Brain Age - it sharpens mental skills (for adults). Anyways there's this relaxing game called 'Virus Busters' - while laying in bed I play it even though I no longer have trouble. It has relaxing lullabye music and I have to struggle sometimes to keep my eyes open LOL One time I feel asleep with it on my chest LOL.
You might also learn meditation and deep breathing exercises. It's also good to take a magnesium supplement - relaxes the muscles. Of course everyone knows to limit their caffeine. Exercise not to close to bedtime and don't be on the computer or watch TV just before bedtime. I hope you get some peaceful seep soon Crystal.
