Uhm, maybe it's not so much going off your meds but having them reevaluated to see if maybe you need them changed. I don't know for sure, but wiring up your cat's brain to a light bulb is, well, a unique thought. If it is too intrusive, please mention it to your doctor.

I've heard of cat whisker radios, maybe that's where you got that idea....
