white iris I understand you completely. I was on medicare when I was able to attend. I saw many people with private insurance that had to go through a song and dance every 3 or 4 days. They couldn't really "settle in" and work the program. Many parts of me feel so safe at that hospital and want to go often although this is changing. I am not sure if this is because I have very few medicare life time mental health days left or if it is because I am at a different place in my healing journey. I think I would still want to go if I could...
ThaCrew may I ask what it was that turned you off about the places you went that were connected to or had Dr. Ross speak at? I was wondering if it was his personality (he certainly comes off conceited to a lot of our insiders) or his theories and points of view concerning trauma and DID?
I think it is really important to have views from both sides posted here.
MY question is why is he so well known? Because he has very good research on DID and related issues or because he sells himself well and there are not that many Dr.'s in the field?
What do you all think?
