Holey smokes, that's quite a long list of stuff to do!!

okay..lemme see if I can help.

Going to the post office, dmv, and hospital are up there on list of importance. Call electric, social security, and water companies. Electric and water company ought to make payment arrangements and have programs for low-income residents. Apply for help! Be sure to mention the difficulty you're having in those rooms as well. Often, the electricity companies are responsible for repairs. Call your local social security office to make things clear. Find out what papers they need and bring copies today.

Pay the bills that absolutely have to be paid now, and put off making those long trips to the student dentist for another month (or whatever). Yes, you need dental work, but you also need food & home energy. The teeth can wait if they have to. Sucky, yes, but they aren't as important right now. Same rule applies towards car repairs. Oil changes can wait, or go in for cheap deals, etc. But major repairs are going to have to wait & you avoid long trips as much as possible!

You can also call for assistance with tax prep from the government, or a friend. Being low-income and disabled, you are given assistance in several areas. Call the county government, and get a social worker to help you through the confusion. Social workers can help in many ways and several different arenas. Give that a try asap!

Getting your son to/from school, appointments, etc are all top prioirties, of course. Best wishes to you both. Social security can be very confusing & frustrating. Take a deep breath, and let it go slowly.
