Regardless if it is, you should have a full medical physical to rule out any health issues...
If you are being treated by a pdoc, bring this up to them. They have tools to diagnose that those of us who have dealt with it for a long time don't have. We can guess, they can diagnose.
That being said, know you have those of us here who understand! I have had this over half my life. While it has gotten better, especially with being treated for my ADHD, there are times I feel like I am walking a "razor's edge". Like I am very anxious and jumpy, but NOT QUITE "tipping" into an attack.
