Time to try #20. I have tried double the amount of meds than years I have been depressed.

I went to see pdoc today. I have been on Lamictal for awhile, which has been pretty helpful as far as keeping me balanced, and it is VERY helpful for hypomania. Unfortunately, the depression creeped back in. I also have a lot of obsessive, catostrophic-like thoughts. Doc prescribed me Luvox CR (to take in addition to the Lamictal and Klonopin). I know that Luvox is one of the first SSRIs. He thought it would be a good med for me because it is used for depression and primarily OCD-- he thought it might help lift my mood and help the anxiety/obsessive thoughts.

Anyone who has been/is on this medication, please help-- tell me about your experience!
