It's hard, especially when you are feeling anxious and vulnerable. You tried part of your support system, only to be turned away. It didn't help matters.

Try to calm down with what you have been taught. Then take a look at the people in your life. Who can you rely on, who accepts you as you are? I have created "support systems" in different areas of my life. I have the people in my personal life who are there, and at work too. Luckily, I work with my Best Friend and my lead is also a friend. My boss is understanding and supportive (if not a lot surprised at Otter 2.0, he was gone for three months and I started ADHD treatment with meds). At home, D is there, I have my mom and friends I can call on.

I know it is hard, but try to stay calm and do what you KNOW (it may be hard to access, but it's there. Start with little things: favorite tshirt or sweater, long bath, things that give you comfort). Know you are not alone and PC is part of your support system!
