My 16 year old son stayed home from school sick today. One of his friends called to check if he had the H1N1 virus that closed down our neighboring school. I wasn't aware that the school a couple miles away was closed because of H1N1, the news said nothing. I knew there was one 30 miles away closed, THAT made news because it was going to affect one of their sports teams.

So I called my doctor's office, gave them my son's symptoms and he has to go in tomorrow morning for a test. I don't usually panic easily, it never even occurred to me that this might even be a possibility, he had no exposure that I knew about.

A light goes on just this second! They fought so that they could participate in the sporting activities in that neighboring town, the team all came into McDonalds while we were there. Oh for crying out loud! What next?
