This is a good thread subject. IMHO hate does have a biological basis, reminding us that there is a situation we don't want to put up with.

But - if we are unable to express our feelings about this situation - OUCH.

There have been some terrorist bombings in the UK recently, as we know, and that indicates to me a whole lot of hate out there. Hate, suppressed over a period of time, is the most damaging emotion on the planet, for all concerned. It is an essential part of the human range of emotions, but it has to be dealt with, or it rots us through from the inside.

The worst example of this? A parent who feeds their own suppressed hate to their child - now that's as bad as it gets.
