Sounds like you need to go to a pyschiatrist. They specialize in meds and can give you a diagnoses.

General doctor are not trained in the psych field.

I would also see a pyschologist also they are good to talk to get testing done.

Also i would not trust one doctor opinion I would try others too and find the you find the most comfortable with. Going to someone you should not just thrown pills, but someone who acutally talks with you and helps you decide the meds and treament. Please be careful good pdoctors will listen to you and help you get on the right meds.
