Is there any type of clubs you could get involved with and meet new friends? Perhaps if you could try to reach out and search, you might be surprised how many friends you could find.
Examples would be dance classes, anything at a YM club, some type of church group would also be a place to find friends, and also get your questions answered about how God feels about you.
Just like in searching for God, you need to do some searching for friends. You know they are out there, all you have to do is extend your hand!
