Daily nurturing, watching the petals
Of a treasured rose as they unfurled

Was a surely precious and rare beauty
A wondrous true treasure of this world

Another radiant treasure found in life
Is seeing my sweet precious Daughter

As she becomes a beautiful wife

We wonder where the years have gone,
As we now look at you.
You take another’s hand in yours
And start a life brand-new.

We think back to those early times
When you were still so small --
That pretty smile, those caring hands
That tended each new doll.

Old photographs bring back those days;
We treasure every pose.
For as you grew, so did our love --
It blossomed like a rose.

We pray your marriage will be blessed
As your new life now starts,
While memories of yesteryear
Are etched within our hearts.
