I too suffer from thyroid issues...........3 weeks ago I was put in the hospital for severe depression again and while in there they found out that my thyroid was out of whack again........so YES it has alot to do with depression....my phystrist said the first thing they check for is thyroid in all new patients coming in........I have been suffering with it for years now..........I am on Levoxyl and they just raised my meds up again........at least the suicide feelings are gone for now but feeling tired alot again lately but that could be heat related too ...I have to go sometime soon and have blood work done again to check my levels and I still fight with my ups and down days..........but was put on lamictal and taken off of topamax for that..........and they upped my anti depressants meds too so hopefully all this works out for me........I too have 3 nodules on my thyroid and they are watching them closely..........kinda scarey I found out years ago about the time I found out about my thryoid that my mom had thyroid cancer and had hers removed.......UGH really scarey thing......
