PLEASE NOTE:

I asked my hubby about the vaccine. My husband works next door to one of two of the national call centers for the Centers for Disease Control here in the US. They have doctors and nurses working there. The word is, the H1N1 vaccine is safe with the following limitations: pick the nasal spray, it's safer. It is a live virus and the recipient might come down with a very mild form of the flu but it is not guaranteed that they will become sick. If they would have a reaction, it would be very mild and completely managable. Second, there is mercury in the vaccine. This is the same as any of the measles, mumps, etc. vaccines that children get routinely in our country. It is not an issue unless the child is allergic to mercury.
