wow Fury ..that's a lot for your sister to go through at such a young age. I never heard of thyroid storm.

My thyroid had swung both to hypo then to hyper and back. I was on synthroid at the time. My doctor doesn't feel this is due to the meds either.

I was going and getting this checked regularly because it was really driving me nuts.

I'm sorry to hear about your sister and her kidney situation. I know how difficult that is. My b/f has the same situation and has been waiting for a kidney for a year and a half now.

I hope that she get's better and doesn't have to deal with these serious issues.
