I'm so very sorry that you have experienced this abuse. I have also been in an abusive relationship. I don't know how long the two of you have been together, but if this is early, then you really need to think long and hard about being with him. If you do want to give him a second chance then I would really make sure he is getting help for this. Physical abuse starts out small. It will then get much worse. If it was me, I would have thrown him out of the house. I can't believe that he was holding your baby while he was attacking you. Until he gets help, I would be very careful on how you address him.
