So when you are upset, she says don't be upset? That seems pretty stupid--sorry. No one likes to be upset, but having the T tell us don't be upset isn't going to help us not be upset. Sometimes a little empathy can go a long way, for example, if the T just says, "it sounds like you're really upset, can you tell me more about that?" So simple and way more effective than "don't be upset." She really doesn't sound helpful or insightful, turquoisesea. Also, just wondering, why do you think it is "great and all" when she tells you not to be upset?
