My oldest son is in the Army and overseas right now.
He will be back in Febuary or March.

Before he went...I promised him I would be done smoking.
I promised to quit.

I still have not started quitting yet.

About two years ago, I tried to quit using Chantix.
It did not work for me. By the second box I was smoking more than ever.
I know two other women who have tried it and had the same thing happen.

My hubby smoked 2 packs a day since he was 9 years old, he is 47.
He quit by going from cigs-to those flavored cigars things that look like ciggerettes.
Then to cigars.
Then to a pipe.

I spoke to an older gentleman in the tabacco store one day (buying smokes for his wife) and he quit the way my hubby did.

I really want to quit. Smokes are like $6 a pack where I live and I have children and do not want to get sick.

Also and most important...I promised Niles I would be done when he came home.

Any ideas on what helps????
I need a place to start...a plan maybe.
Thank you.
