"You can't help me, T."

This really means (in terms of projection), "I feel helpless. I can't do anything to help myself."

But I genuinely feel as though T cannot help me with my depression.

So is it both? Probably. I guess that's part of the therapy-- recognizing that it doesn't have to be one or the other-- it can be both.

"You are frustrated with me, T."

Projection: I am frustrated as hell with myself.

Genuinely, it is both. And T has confirmed this. That he is human, and he too, gets frustrated with me.

Sometimes I do get really frustrated and thrown off because self-exploration and everything in therapy seems like it can go 23048230 ways. Everything has an opposite, everything is connected, everything is intertwined, everything is not one thing or the other, everything is more than one thing...
