How long have you been in that school; did you recently change from somewhere else? Is it getting any better as time goes by? Sometimes it's hard to identify people we might like at first. I moved away in 4th grade and came back to the area in 11th and even though people I'd known in elementary school and been best friends with were still there, we were very different and that made me really lonely and scared as I was "new" and had been to another high school, etc. It takes time to get a bit more comfortable both physically and with the people.

I met a couple people walking home from school and they're still friends now, 40+ years later. Once you identify even one person to get to know, it gets a bit better in classes, even those that are more disruptive.
