my T said that no parts could be left out or die. We need all of our parts. i'm not sure how it would be to share memory. i've never heard of it happening all at once.
Onec i became aware of a teen part's memories . T had asked to use hypnosis to know parts and called me out when Sarah was there and said, '"'kerria' meet Sarah". and i instantly met her and knew all her memories all at the same time.
it was so unique. Usually when we meet someone we just know their name and a little about the way they look, etc- but meeting a part was knowing them on the inside- all the things that she experienced as well as what she was like in her personality. i don't think that we blended though because i know her experiences (memories) but not as mine. They are still hers but i know her- that part of me.
It was a very good feeling. it felt like i was stronger and more whole as a person.
