May be the women quit you were not considerate enough. Sometimes temporary failures in relationships result in finding the ultimate soul mate. Although life is not a fairytale and sometimes you end up chasing a fairy's tail ;-), but still hoping for good to happen helps pass the journey in a better way.
Emotions are okay, but may be women expect sometimes "boys don't cry" stuff. So motions are good, expressing them is also good but holding them till the right moment is the key! Empathise more and plan things, control the emotions and let not the emotions control you!
