My wife and I are ready to split up over the treatment for my daughter who has been diagnosed with bi-polar. She has been undergoing treatment for a few years. While the meds (help) she still goes into these "RAGES", in between these she still refuses to do homework, help around house etc. She will swear and be abuseful at times. I say if we keep working with the doctors they will find the right combonation and even her attitude will get better. Wife says it is a lost cause and if I want to stay in the mess go ahead she is leaving. My daughter is 15, was on meds for adhd for the last 5 years. Last year they took her off and have been trying to treat bi polar. And yes the adhd were not helping anything by then. I guess my big question is, has anyone else had a simlar rage, attitude. and the have meds help "everything"?
