Mark, I've been on Effexor for awhile, can't recall exactly what month I've started it... I didn't expierence anything how you are expierencing.

If I had side effects while I first started my Effexor, I wouldn't have noticed as I was withdrawaling from the Remeron at the time.

If you have been on this drug for the past 18 months and are having that much trouble with it you should really consult with your doctor, and see what you two can come up with.
