HIya,

Regular peroxide shouldn't burn your skin. I've had the bubbles and skin turning white, too, when I've used it. I always figured it was just the peroxide doing it's job, so to speak.

For what it's worth, I've read that antibacterial soap is as good for preventing infection in minor cuts as some of the stronger stuff (peroxiode, iodine, etc) and does less damage to the surrounding tissue.

I'm not a doctor, of course, and it's always a good idea to consult a professional if you're not sure that a cut is healing properly. Hope it's better soon!
