Granted they are kids but its society for the past 100+ years that have labeled the mentally ill as outcasts to society and it’s scary to be mentally ill. I don’t see people dressing their kids up as a cancer patient, liver diseases or a heart attack! That would be politically incorrect, for someone to ask, “What are you for Halloween” “cancer patient”.

In the past they never had proper treatment for mental illness and therefore stereo type us as “crazy”. Even today, after science and medication, people still us the phrases, “their acting psycho” or “that person is crazy” ; these comments are not meant to be positive and 9/10 when refer to the person, they don’t suffer from mental illness!

I still am in shocked that after all the studies on mental illnesses and the various diseases they still categorize us and bad people. If the didn’t we would not be referenced as equals to serial killers, robbers, and other things.

Everyone around me but I am always alone.

Hour by hour and week by week,
I deal with myself and I never feel complete.

I want to be normal; I want to be sane,
No matter what I do, I always feel the pain.

“Stop the mania and fight back,
It’s all in your head”
I wish I could do it; I would rather go to bed.

Sometimes I am high and sometimes I am low,
I wish they could see me, so I won’t be alone.
