I have already taken her to the pdoc with me doesn't seem it has helped anything at all other then the doctor taking me off all my meds except my anxiety med because my mom told the doc that the meds were to expensive for me. The doc refused to put me on something i could afford or get through a free med program. He couldn't even tell my mom why he had me on all these meds. I have seen changed docs and iam now seeing another doc in the same practice. This doc seems very helpful and willing to teach me coping skills instead of treating right away with meds which make me feel more comfortable. I might bring my mom to him because he seems like he could help her understand me and my son better. I actually have been asking him questions myself about me and my sons ADHD and how they are related. I had thought that ADHD turned into Bipolar but, through further research found out they are related but ADHD is co-existing with Bipolar not a childhood version of Bipolar in other words ADHD is it's own disorder not a disorder that can turn into Bipolar.
